Test results
Results are discussed with your GP. Call reception to check whether your results are back, or book a follow-up appointment to go through them. Our GPs will contact you if a result needs attention sooner.
Repeat scripts and certificates
Existing patients can request repeat prescriptions and medical certificates online through HotDoc, and your GP will usually respond within 24 hours. Some requests need a consultation so your GP can review your care.
Medical records
Moving to Rutherford Doctors? Ask reception and we'll request your records from your previous practice with your consent. Some practices charge a fee to transfer records.
Fees and billing
We are a Medicare Bulk Billing Practice. All Medicare-eligible consultations are bulk billed for patients with a valid Medicare card. Some items, including privately purchased vaccines and consumables, attract a fee, and reception will confirm any cost before your appointment.
Interpreters
Let reception know when you book if you would like an interpreter. Our GPs can use the free TIS National interpreting service for Medicare-funded consultations. Dr Qaiser also speaks Hindi, Punjabi, Sindhi and Urdu.
Feedback and complaints
We welcome your feedback. Please speak with reception or ask for Lucy, our Practice Manager. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Health Care Complaints Commission on 1800 043 159.
